 The City of Palos Heights does not remove dead animals from private property. Removal of any dead animals on private property is the responsibility of the property owner.

Cook County Animal and Rabies Control: 708-974-6140  

Unincorporated Palos Heights: residents may request the loan of a trap for the humane capture of wildlife and feral cats outside. Cook County will respond to calls for live/injured/dead bats, or injured wildlife. They will also respond to stray dogs contained outside.

Incorporated Palos Heights: residents will need a referral from city, and only responds to emergency calls.
